Christmas Day 2010...

It was a typical Christmas morning at the Perry house. It was not quite as relaxing as last year, when they just happened to get up one at a time in 1/2 shifts but still very nice;) Leytan, Lorelle and Lilyan all got up about the same time...I think around 7:30AM. Landan and Liam joined us next. Levi slept in...as usual;) All the kids were done unwrapping their presents before he woke. That ended up being REALLY nice! We could all watch and focus on him...since this was his first Christmas morning here. He was absolutely adorable and SO very thankful. He kept saying..."I love it! I LOVE it!" TOO cute!

The kids played, played and played some more with all their new toys. We watched the Disney Christmas Day Parade, a few movies, ATE and relaxed ALL day. Most of us stayed in our pj's all day too;) It was a lazy day but a GREAT one:) It was indeed a VERY Merry Christmas!!! God is GOOD!!! We are SO blessed!!!

Christmas Eve CRAB LEGS...LOL!

After church we spent the evening with our gang munching on dips, shrimp and crab legs. We started the "Christmas Eve Crab Legs" tradition last year. The kids all LOVE crab and are quite skilled at eating them;) The only problem...Andy doesn't eat shell fish, OOPS!!! Sorry Andy:( We will have to make it surf and TURF next year. After chowing, we watched a couple movies and then sent the kiddos to bed so that Santa could come;) We enjoyed our late night chat time alone with Santa's helpers (Lauren and Andy). SO exciting to hear about all the possible wedding plans for this Summer. They are such a CUTE couple! We are so HAPPY for them!

Our "BIGS"...how different our lives would be if we had stopped after these three?!

Christmas Eve Crafts:)

Friday morning I kept the kids busy with craft and cooking projects;) First they painted Santas and then they made gingerbread houses. They also helped me make a breakfast casserole (for Christmas morning:) and also some buffalo chicken dip. YUM!

Lilyan and Lorelle really concentrating on their painting...

Levi did an extra good job, with LOTS of glitter...

The finished Santas, Levi's, Lilyan's, Lorelle's and Liam's...

We got cleaned up and headed to church for an early evening Christmas service. It was nice to sit there all together with the entire gang...Lauren and Andy even joined us:) What a special time of worship and thanksgiving. I felt completely at peace looking down the row at all my BLESSINGS!!! Thank you Lord for your son Jesus and for his amazing GIFT to me and mine!!!

Levi's FIRST visit from the tooth fairy!!!

Levi lost a tooth Thursday night before bed. Boy was he EXCITED to learn about the tooth fairly from his siblings. I think he thought it was definitely to good to be true. He told us..."NO tooth fairy in China." He was thrilled to actually find money underneath his pillow on Friday morning. Too CUTE!!!

Goodies...

On the eve of Christmas Eve...the littles and I decided to make cut-out cookies. They enjoyed rolling out the dough, cutting the cookies into star, angel, stocking, tree and gingerbread men shapes;) Then of course, the frosting and sprinkles to make them extra YUMMY! We make these every year, using Lance's grandma's recipe with buttermilk. They are SO good!

Lorelle...

They all LOVE to help Mommy bake:)

Our Family Christmas Dinner 2010...

On Sunday, we had our extended family over for our annual Christmas dinner. We switched it up a little this year and instead of having prime rib, Lance grilled steaks on the charcoal grill. I think it was a little bit of a challenge for him to get 20 steaks to fit and cook them like he wanted but everything turned out GREAT! We also had Casa salad, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, biscuits, cheesecake and brownies. I really appreciate all the other goodies everyone brought to share. Amy, those buckeyes were YUMMY! (Ask me about my attempt to make them on Monday? Not so great...LOL!) Anyway, Lance and I LOVE entertaining and having people over, especially family:) We LOVE you all so much!!!

Before dinner, us girls (Eva, Mindy, Ashely, Angela, Lorelle, Lilyan and I) went to see the musical Annie at the Wagon Wheel. It was CUTE. Boy, do we have some talented singers/actors around here?! Lorelle especially liked it and I had to shush her a few times from joining in on the singing too loudly. She TOTALLY wants to be up there on stage! Thank you SO much Lancaster Family for the show tickets:) We were surprised to be in the FRONT row too. You guys ROCK!!!

Lorelle with Annie...

The kids table...

After everyone was finished with dinner, we prayed and opened presents. Again this year, we made the kids open up their presents one at a time...youngest first;) Levi was SO excited!! He had the look of pure JOY on his face. I LOVED it!!! Notice...again NO shirt:) LOL!

Look at that smile! I think he was about to BURST!
