Valentine's Day 2012...

I can't even explain how much JOY lining up these six little bags of Valentine's goodies gave me. I got all teary eyed and SO very thankful for these precious blessing that God has given me. The littles were thrilled with their stuff and the big boys liked their stuff too...even if they don't like to admit it. They do LOVE tradition and I know they will appreciate all that I do to make their holidays special...someday;) Oh how I adore my kids...even if they are a LOT of work at times.

Academic Recognition Night...

On Saturday, February 4th between the high school JV and Varsity boys basketball games...the Warsaw Community schools 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students that received all A's were announced and recognized for all their hard work. Leytan was was among those honored. We are VERY proud of him!!!

GREAT job Leytan!!! Keep up the good work;)

Levi turned 8 years old!!!

On Saturday, February 4th we celebrated Levi's 8th birthday. He chose to have his party at the skating rink. All 4 of my littles like to roller skate;) He invited family and also a few friends. We decided to give him his present from us in the morning before his party. We bought him the biggest Lego kit I could find at Walmart. It was supposed to be for kids 9-16 years old and it had 1,057 pieces!! He LOVES Legos and builds the kits SO quickly and easily...so I thought maybe this one would keep him busy and take him a few days to finish at least:) We also surprised him with some exciting news...We are taking him to Topsail Island, North Carolina for Spring Break to see his foster sister Julie. He has been begging to see her ever since we got him in China and especially wanted to see her over the holidays. He is SO excited...we ALL are!!! I took a video of him when we told him and he got the BIGGEST smile:) Too precious!!!

Dominican Republic...

Lance spent January 22-26th in the Dominican Republic in a city called Bavero. He went with 2nd Mile Missions. It was definitely a life-changing trip for him. I have hundreds of pictures I could share but here are just a few;) We spend the morning after his return talking about and crying for the people he got to meet. We also gave praises to God for the amazing things He is doing there. If you see Lance...ask him to share more about his experiences. AMAZING!!!
