I had to share this picture of our new house. Our neighbor across the street took it last night. Isn't the sunset AMAZING! The new additions, upgrades and changes are almost finished and are really looking great. This is going to be the perfect house for us. Thank you Lord for leading us to it! We move in on August 14...and we are SO excited! I will post some pictures of the inside when we get in and settled a little.

Families Thru International Adoption...

Five years ago when we first traveled to China to bring Lilyan home we used an agency by the name of FTIA (Families Thru International Adoption). They are a group of amazing people that bring hundreds of children home to the US each year. During our trip we traveled and became lifelong friends with some wonderful families. Our girls were friends, more like sisters really, to each other even before we came into their lives. They share the same birth country, city, orphanage and while at the orphanage... beds, bottles and clothes. They have a bond that is magical to see each time they are together again. We try to keep the girls in contact with each other and get them together a couple times a year. Here is a video montage I made of our day with the girl's China Sisters:-) We had a GREAT day and the girls hated to say goodbye!

Our 4th of July Weekend 2009...

Our 4th of July weekend was full of fun activities this year. We started on the 3rd with a birthday party for Landan at LazerX to celebrate his 12th Birthday. Then we were off to friends house to celebrate their daughter's 4th Birthday with a pool party. And to end our evening, we attended a Fourth of July party with lots of fun for the kids, including...crafts, snow cones, popcorn, sugar cookies and a great fireworks show. We all had a GREAT time! On the 4th we took the kids to a parade, where they got to ride in the fire truck. That evening we had a family date night and took the kids out to dinner and to see High School Musical at our local Wagon Wheel Theatre. The triplets especially enjoyed it and were thrilled to get their picture with the cast afterward. Then on Sunday the 5th we had friends and their kiddos over for a cookout. It was the best weather of the weekend and we had a relaxing pool side day. Enjoy this video montage I made of our weekend.

4th of July Weekend 2009

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th. It is always a time for me for remembering our troops that fight to keep our country free and most of all for keeping my family safe. God Bless our soldiers and their families!

Lilyan lost her FIRST tooth!

Lilyan has been waiting patiently for her chance to lose a tooth. Liam and Lorelle have lost several and she would get so upset after each one. She was absolutely on cloud nine this evening when she lost her first baby tooth at dinner. I thought that corn on the cob just might do the trick:-) She was SO excited! She has placed her tooth underneath her pillow for the tooth fairy to retrieve tonight. What a special evening it has been for my baby princess.

Landan turns 12yrs. today!

I can't believe Landan is 12 years old. I still remember being pregnant with him like it was yesterday. I never wanted anything more than to be a Mom and I loved him SO much even before he was even born. When it was time for his grand entrance into the this world, it took 19 hours of labor. YIKES! He was SO worth every second. He is an amazing son and I am so proud of him. We celebrated his special day by taking him and 9 other boys to LazerX for an afternoon of lazer tag, mazes, video games, pizza and cake. He had a great day! We love you Landan!
