Soccer Update...

Lorelle is continuing to LOVE soccer! She does a great job and is really aggressive. She scores most of her games and was really into what she called "side slide kicking" last game:) I am convinced that this little girl of mine will be GREAT at whatever she decides she want to do. She has really enjoyed her last few games and is learning a lot. She has 3 more games left this season. GO Lorelle!!!

Landan also has 3 games left. Unfortunately, he re-injured his ankle during his game this week. Not sure if he will be able to play next week:( It is not as bad as last time but I am afraid to let him play until he is completely healed. We will see...

6th Graders go to camp!

Last Wednesday thru Friday the entire Harrison Elementary, 6th grade class, teachers and some parent chaperones went to Camp Crosley. Lance went with Landan and stayed in a cabin with about 14 boys. He had such a GREAT time! He is already looking forward to going with Leytan in a couple years when he gets to go:)

Leytan also when on a field trip last week. The entire 4th grade went to Indianapolis for the day. They left at 6:30AM on Wednesday morning and returned at 6:30PM. They went to the Indiana State Museum where they toured and saw the IMAX 3D Hubble movie. All three of my big boys had a FUN week:)

The kids went fishing this evening and caught a ton of fish. They were having such a great time.

They only quit because they ran out of bait. Guess what I have to get tomorrow at Walmart:)

They had such a FUN night and are looking forward to many more days of outdoor fun. Only 7 more day of school. WOOHOO!!!

BEAUTIFUL Day!!!

It was such a pretty day today. The weather was perfect and the sun was shining. I went for a walk this afternoon and took these pictures in our neighborhood. I just LOVE it here. It is so pretty and so peaceful. Thank you God for this day!

Poetry Party!!!

This afternoon Lilyan's class hosted a "Poetry Party". Each of the children had their work displayed at their desks and there was a video running of each of the kids reading some poetry. I loved Lilyan's poetry and her illustrations that she drew to go with them. She is such a creative little girl. My favorite was call..."My Family is as GREAT as Cotton Candy!" TOO cute:) She did a wonderful job and I am so proud of her.

Happy Birthday Liam!!!

Liam turned 8 years old today! He chose to have a party at the movie theatre. He wanted to see the new Iron Man 2 movie. So...this afternoon, Liam, 10 of his buddies, his brothers, Lorelle, Lance and I went to see the movie. The kids all enjoyed the pop, popcorn, candy and of coarse the movie. The boys were SO into all the action....literally on the edge of their seats:) The kids also got a tour of the movie tech room and learned how the movies are played. Liam really enjoyed this time with his friends. He had a GREAT birthday!!!

3 year ago TODAY...

I was handed the most amazing little peanut. He was 4...almost 5 years old, covered with chicken pox, had a large scrape near his eye, super ticklish, a wonderful grin and was the CUTEST little China boy I had ever seen. Today we celebrated our last 3 years together having his "China food" for lunch and he also picked out a cake. He has come such a long way over the last 3 years. I feel SO lucky to be his Momma!!! He gives me the BEST hugs and kisses:) I love you SO much sweet boy!
