We made it! April 3, 2010...

We only had about a 15 minute van ride to the hotel and then the real fun began. When we arrived at the Beaches Resort, we were greeted with cold cloths, cocktails and cookies. All the kids thought that was cool...especially Lorelle;) She LOVED all the extra attention she got from everyone at the resort. After checking into our room, we enjoyed a nice lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon/early evening on the beach. The water was such a pretty, clear, blue and the sand was so soft. It was a long but FUN day!

Our Travels to Turks and Caicos Islands...April 3, 2010

On Good Friday, the 2nd...we picked up our gang from school early and headed to Chicago for the evening. We stayed at our usual park~n~fly hotel, went to dinner at our favorite pizza place and tried to get to bed early. This was not an easy task since the kids were SO excited:) We had a 3:30AM wake up call and were down in the lobby at 4AM for a shuttle to the airport. The kids are such GREAT travelers! The kids all woke ready to go and excited. They all enjoyed the city lights during take off. REALLY cool to see!

The kids had such a great time on the flights (We flew from Chicago to Atlanta then on to the Islands:), taking pictures of each other and silly pictures of Lance and I. Lilyan is still cracking up over a close up, funny picture of me that she took. She wants me to put it on Facebook:) LOL!

I took this picture off my bedroom deck this evening. We have the best sunsets and I love the reflection on the pond...just amazing beautiful to me. How can you look at this and not think of God...how awesome his creations are!!!

Student of the Week!

Liam was selected for Student of the Week this week. We worked on his poster together over the weekend. He did a good job on it and it turned out GREAT! He was very proud of it. He gets to do a lot of special things this week, including: read a book to his class, eat lunch with his teacher Mrs. Marsh (and 3 of his friends...that he chooses:) and he also gets a special show and tell time. I am happy for my little man and glad he is having such a special week.

Wall of Fame!!!

With 5 kiddos that bring me home the BEST artwork and a refrigerator that is NOT magnetic...I knew I had to think of a way to display my children's masterpieces. So...we had an entire wall of our laundry room painted with magnetic paint:) I LOVE my Wall of Fame!!! I rotate the pictures ever couple weeks and leave up my favorites longer. The kids love having their work on display.

Coloring Eggs...

It was a chilly, gloomy, rainy day here and the kids missed not being able to go outside and play:( We passed the time by watching the Kids Choice Awards and decorating eggs. The triplets spent a lot of time getting the perfect colors. Then we let them dry and they added some glitter paint to some of them. Then, of course, they ate a few:)

It was a nice weekend and everyone enjoyed it. Only 4 1/2 more days until we leave for Spring Break! We are ALL excited!!!

Easter Egg Hunt...

We took the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt yesterday. It was a little chilly but the kids didn't seem to mind much. They enjoyed the hunt and then played at the park for a while.

Later that evening we had family over for a pre-Easter dinner:) It was great to see and spend time with everyone. After dinner we watched the movie the Blind Side and also watched a little basketball.
