Riviera Maya, Mexico...

This year we decided to go to back to Riviera Maya, Mexico for the kid's Fall Break from school. We visited the exact same resort (the El Cid) back in 2008 for the kid's Spring Break;) The resort is in a remote area not around any other resort, has HUGE rooms which is a must for our family and it is very kid friendly. The kids loved jumping off the high dive rocks, the water slide, volleyball, pottery painting and all the other poolside kid activities:) They also enjoy the beach activities: making sand castles, boogie boarding, canoeing, snorkeling, searching for shells, etc. I personally just love the chance to relax and not worry about cleaning, laundry, dinner, homework and other mom duties;) It is a nice break for everyone and a chance to just hang out together and have FUN! The weather was perfect and the sunrises just gorgeous. Traveling as a party of 10 with 4 "littles"...is NOT always stress free but it was a GREAT trip and I am very thankful for our family time together. I am BLESSED!!!
