Levi Update!!!

We got the most AMAZING and TOTALLY unexpected update on Levi today! We also received 12 new photos of our boy. I just LOVE looking at them and learning a little bit more about my son. The pictures included ones of him at school (writing his numbers and working in some sort of workbook:), picking (and eating:) some kind of berries, and the rest are from the Children's Day Festival. On this day, June 1st, the children in his Foster Family Village got together to perform some plays, dances and other demonstrations. It is a holiday in China dedicated to celebrating their children.

Levi and his foster sister (I think) performing at the Children's Day Festival...

My Karate Kid...

Levi and one of his classmates at school...

Here are also some things I have learned about Levi:

1. He likes to eat noodles, vegetables and watermelon.

2. He likes to drink milk.

3. He likes to play with blocks, cars and toy guns.

4. His favorite cartoons are Tom and Jerry and also Journey to the West (a popular show for children in China:).

5. He is very happy when "playing with children".

6. He is sad when he is "lonely" or he has "limited freedom". Hmmm?!

7. He has "no fear of things or stuff".

8. He likes "outdoor sports".

9. He likes to draw.

10. He "does not often get sick".

11. He is a good sleeper and does not take naps.

12. He does understand about his adoption.

Today our Article 5 was picked up and overnighted to the Chinese Center of Adoption Affairs. This is our last step before we get our Travel Approval:) Within the next 4 weeks we should have our confirmed travel dates. I am so ready to start booking our travel and to know when our Gotcha Day will be. I have prepared one last care package to send out to Levi tomorrow. It includes more pictures of his family, a toy train, pjs, small coloring book and a disposable camera. Come on TA!!!
